How Does ESIC Handle Accidents During Commutes? Seeking Guidance on Procedures

Kindly let me know the accident register procedure under ESIC. What would the process be under ESIC if an employee met with an accident while coming to the office?

Dear STPL,

First, you need to fill out Form 12 within 48 hours, which is available on the ESIC employer site. Take two witness letters and EC copies for the current period, then visit the ESIC office with all supporting documents and explain everything about the accident day, time, and place.

Further, they will assist you with registering Form II, muster roll, wages register, Accident register, and covering letter.
