Struggling to Update an Expired ESIC Card: How Can I Fix This for Our Employee?

j_jennifer@rediffmail.com
Hello Friends, We have a staff member who registered with ESIC in 2012 but has yet to use his ESIC benefits. Recently, when he visited the dispensary, he was informed that his card\'s validity period had expired long ago and was advised to have it updated through HR. I am struggling to understand how to change the validity period, despite having already entered the Aadhar details of him and his family on the website. I am unable to make any changes to the card\'s validity. Could you please advise me on the correct procedure?

Kind Regards,
Jennifer

To change the validity period in ESIC for an employee, follow these steps:

1. Verify the ESIC Portal: Ensure you have access to the ESIC portal with the necessary permissions to make changes to an employee's details.

2. Login to ESIC Portal: Log in to the ESIC portal using your credentials.

3. Navigate to Employee Details: Look for the section where employee details are managed. This is usually under the employee profile or account settings.

4. Locate the Employee: Find the specific employee's profile for whom you need to change the validity period.

5. Edit Validity Period: Within the employee's profile, there should be an option to edit or update details. Look for the validity period field and make the necessary changes.

6. Save Changes: After updating the validity period, remember to save the changes to ensure they are reflected in the system.

7. Confirmation: Once saved, double-check to ensure the validity period has been successfully updated for the employee.

8. Inform the Employee: Notify the employee that the validity period has been changed and advise them to visit the dispensary again to confirm the update.

By following these steps, you should be able to change the validity period in ESIC for the employee effectively.
