Query on work of HR intern in the textile industry?

Hello, My name is kamal And I'm working in the textile industry as an internship in HR
I'm working here since 25 days but I didn't learn anything except various act which follows up in this industry.
Most of time I usually spent my time just reading it news.
Here's is three processing of work (dyeing, finishing, printing,)
But here is HR has only one work to do i.e, making salaries of employees and making their PF and ESI etc.
In 8 hrs of day they usually spent 2 hrs on work.
How can i utilise my time so that I can learn and improve my skills and knowledge.

Forget about other HR what you have learnt so far in last 25 days what learning / observation about employee you can share across with us?

I have learned payroll, attendance managing, and various statutory compliance, not practically only read about various Act which follows in an industry.
What more I can do here ??
