Haryana Factory Act: Do We Need a Rest Room if We Already Have a Canteen?

Dear Sir,

We are in manufacturing auto parts. My query is that under the Haryana Factory Act, we have a factory license for 400 employees, and we have a canteen facility. Is it mandatory for us to provide a rest room as well if a canteen facility is available?

Check Haryana factories rules online or in a book on restrooms and canteens. It is very unlikely that both have to be followed simultaneously.
