Understanding the Latest Industrial DA Hike: How Does It Affect Your Salary?

Dear Friends,

As you know, the Industrial DA with effect from 01.04.2017 for 2007 & 1997 Scales is 117.2% and 266.7% respectively. With the release of the All India Consumer Price Index for the months of March, April, and May 2017, the Industrial DA with effect from 01.07.2017 will be 119% (an increase of 1.8%) and 269.7% (an increase of 3%) respectively.

Dear Friends,

As you know, the Industrial DA W.E.F 01.07.2017 for 2007 & 1997 Scales is 119% and 269.7% respectively. With the release of the All India Consumer Price Index for the months of June & July 2017, the Projected Industrial DA W.E.F 01.10.2017 will be 124.3% (an increase of 5.3%) & 278.7% (a decrease of 9%) respectively.

Note: AICPI for August 2017 is yet to come. The final figure may vary accordingly.
