Did My Old Job Make Pension Contributions? How Can I Withdraw Them Now?

rvrvrajesh@gmail.com
Sorry, my English is not good.

In my last company, Su-kam Power System Ltd, I worked from 10/7/2012 to July 2014. I had around Rs. 33,000 in my PF account. However, I was unaware that pension contributions were also being made at that time. Now that I have realized this, I want to confirm whether pension contributions were being made on my behalf during that period. If they were, I would like to know how I can withdraw them. Please provide me with the necessary information. Thank you.

Please confirm whether you have filled two separate forms - Form-19 (to withdraw PF) and Form 10-C (to withdraw Pension) at the time of leaving. You are entitled to get a pension if you have contributed for more than 6 months.

I am sorry, I don't remember but I came twice. My PF was deducted one time, 22000 or 11000 something. But I think PF is deducted twice and I have worked for 23 months. The total amount deducted from my PF is 14785/-. So, if this is doubled, it becomes 29570. Was my pension contribution only 3430/-? Please clarify this for me.

Dear Rajesh,

PF nikalwane ke liye PF Form 19 aur 10C bhara jata hai. Jo ki aapki baato se lag raha hai ki aapne dono hi form bhar diye the. Agar aapko service karte hue 10 saal ho chuke hai to form 10 C nahi bhara jata jo ki pension ke liye hota hai. Jab aapki service 23 months ki thi to zahir si baat hai ki aapka pura PF aa chuka hai.

Right now, I am working with a finance company for the last 2 years. I am facing an issue as I do not understand my PF structure. I have downloaded my PF passbook. Please confirm to me my current PF balance. I will provide an attachment for your reference. Kindly check the pension contribution and provide me with information on this matter.

Dear Rajesh,

Right now, you have a total amount of 21772 + 6658 + 15033 in your EPF account. Your contribution is directly shown in the first row, while your employer's contribution is displayed in two parts: Employer Share and Pension Contribution, which together equals the amount of your contribution.

Form 10-C and Pension Withdrawal

Form 10-C is used for pension withdrawal. If your service is more than 9.5 years, you need to fill out Form 10-D, which will provide you with a pension certificate. This certificate will enable you to receive a pension after the age of 58. In your case, two separate amounts have been credited: Rs. 22,000 for PF (your and your employer's contribution) and the remaining Rs. 11,000 is for the pension. Pension eligibility is calculated in multiples of six months.

For example, if you have worked for 2 years and 4 months, you will receive a pension for 2 years. However, if you have worked for 2 years and 6 months, you will receive the full pension.

Thank you.
