Important Update: ESI Contribution Deadline Moved to the 15th of Each Month – How Does This Affect You?

Dear All,

Please be informed that the ESI contribution has been changed to the 15th of every calendar month instead of the 21st of every calendar month. This is effective from 15th July 2017 (June 2017 Contribution Payable). Note: The Gazette Notification is attached for your reference.

Hence, both EPF and ESI contributions will be paid on or before the 15th of Every Calendar Month.

We express our sincere support and solidarity with those who are suffering from the aftereffects of the recent cyclone in the Odisha region.

ESI Notification is applicable to those employers in the Odisha state. ESIC has extended the last date for the remittance of ESI contributions by employers by 45 days due to the effects of the "Fani" cyclone. Employers in this region, please take note for guidance as per the attached notification.

The ESIC has issued circulars regarding the filing of contributions in the wake of the present emergent situation. Notifications are attached.
