Seeking Advice on PF Withdrawal

My mother worked in a private college for 13 years. We were informed that the PF would be processed. However, when we approached the employer, they stated it would automatically go into a pension scheme, and we could not claim the whole amount. My mother does not require a pension, and she has informed the employer about this multiple times, but they said it is a government rule.

They mentioned that if more than 10 years have passed, it automatically goes into the pension scheme. I need a solution on how to claim her PF amount. What form do we have to submit? The employer has only provided the Pension Scheme form 10D.

Thank you.

Your employer is correct. They can't do anything about this. From the first month of her appointment onwards, the pension fund has been contributed. There is an option of withdrawing the pension fund if she applies for withdrawal before 10 years of service.

After 10 years of service, you can't withdraw the pension fund completely. You can only apply for a "Scheme Certificate." After attaining the age of 58 years, she can apply for a pension.
