How Do You Calculate Compensation for a Worker Who Lost a Thumb in an Accident?

Dear Admin,

Please suggest the formula for the calculation of the amount of compensation payable to a workman whose DOB is 01.01.1983 and whose wages are Rs. 10,500/- gross. He met with an accident and lost his right thumb permanently. Kindly guide us and also provide the schedule for calculation.

Please refer to the schedules attached to the Employee Compensation Act to calculate the compensation. Always pay the compensation to the employee in the presence of authority under the act.
