Facing Unfair PF Deductions as a Handicapped Employee: How Can I Address This?

hareshmistry
Dear sir,

Please reply. I am a handicapped person and I have joined a new service in a proprietorship firm. I am aware that the company's contribution to the provident fund is not deducted from the employee's salary for the first three years. This amount will be recovered from the government as a handicapped person under exempted rules. However, the HR manager deducted the employer's contribution from my salary.

What can I do to address this issue?

Please reply.

Dear Haresh Mistry,

Please note that the Employer should deduct the Employee Share at 12%. The Employer Share at 12% will be given to the Employer as an incentive subject to fulfilling the conditions set in the Scheme.
