Applicability Of Wages Act For Contract Labour?

If any subcontractor are engaged from any principle employer will wages act applicable to subcontractor.
2. Is payment disbursement by any subcontractor to their employees necessary to do on or before 7th of every month.
3. Wages act 1936 is applicable on contract labour.

If your site engages more than 1000 all inclusive employees them it will be legal to pay wages on or before 10th, otherwise they have to be paid by 7th day of the following month.
Payment of wages act is applicable to all employees.
