Company is taking very lightly to give the gratuity money.

Dear All,
Can anyone help me regarding the gratuity money. I joined the company on 04 December 2010, and left the company on 07 December 2015. it is a period of 5 years and 4 days. as per rule i am applicable for the gratuity, but when i got my full & final statement and clearance from the company, i asked for the gratuity also. firstly they are refused and after that they gone through the document and agree to give. but now after a 1.5 years over, they are just playing with me and not clear this matter.
Please help me in this matter.

Immediately give written complaint to labor office along with the proofs of your employment and copy of gratuity claim made by you.

Immediately write letter to our nearest Labour Office(area under which you were working for said period) along with paper such as appointment letter, discharge letter and copy of gratuity claim that has been agreed by the company/employer to you.

Gratuity Amount should have been paid to you within 1 Month from the date of Relieving from Service.Now you are also entitled for interest @12% Per Annum.Please approach The Controlling Authority/The Assistant Labour Commissioner & submit your Complaint with all relevant records immediately.You should not have waited so long.

Dear Srinath Sai Ram Sir,
As per the Provision of Section 7 (3-A) of the Payment of Gratuity Act,1972 , A person shall be entitled for interest 10 % per annum.
Please let me know in which section is defined 12% interest per annum.

Dear Mr Solanki, you are right that interest @10% is payable for belated Payment of Gratuity.Due to typographical error it is erroneously mentioned as 12%
