Confused About PF Withdrawal: Will a 59-Year-Old Employee Get a Monthly Pension?

Sharma HR
Good morning,

Please provide us your inputs on the query below:

1. One employee aged 59 years submitted his PF withdrawal forms, both 10C & 19, and received only PF in his bank account.
2. Kindly confirm if he will receive a pension on a monthly basis.
3. How can he claim it?

Thank you.

Dear Sharma HR,

You have to furnish EPS membership details of the employee in question to determine his eligibility for a pension under EPS. If the EPS membership is 10 years, you have to submit Form 10D together with other documents and Aadhaar to claim the pension.

Thank you.

His EPS membership is only 5 years, not 10 years. In that case, how can he claim for the pension fund?
Srinath Sai Ram
Dear Sharma,

Based on EPS Membership of 5 years, the employee in question is eligible for EPS withdrawal upon submission of Form #10C. Please investigate the reason for the rejection of Form No. 10C and take appropriate action accordingly.

Thank you.
