Understanding PF Withdrawals: Will I Get the Full Amount Including Employer Contribution?

Vikas saharan
Dear all,

I am an ex-employee of HCL, and now I will withdraw my PF from the HCL Trust. In the PF statement, the net balance is showing 91,928. Approximately 76,000 is my contribution, and the rest is from my employer. Could you please guide me on how much PF I will receive? Will it be the same as shown or double?

Thanks

Dear Vikas, From the details provided, it seems that the amount you have shown is only for the PF contribution. In this case, the complete 12% of the employee's contribution goes directly to the PF. From the employer's side, 3.67% goes to the PF, and the remaining 8.33% goes to the pension fund. Upon reviewing your records carefully, you may find the amount allocated to the pension fund as well. It's important to note that the pension fund amount cannot be withdrawn if the service period is over 10 years. Additionally, if you have transferred your PF, you will only see the PF amount and not the pension contribution. Please review your records accordingly. Thank you.
