Steps to register for GST:

1. Go to the GST Portal: https://www.gst.gov.in/
2. Click on the "Services" tab and select "Registration" from the drop-down menu.
3. Click on the "New Registration" button.
4. Select the type of taxpayer you are registering for (e.g., Normal Taxpayer, Casual Taxpayer, etc.).
5. Enter your PAN number and click on the "Continue" button.
6. Enter your Aadhaar number and click on the "Validate" button.
7. Enter the OTP (One Time Password) that is sent to your registered mobile number and click on the "Verify" button.
8. Select the state and district in which your business is located.
9. Enter your business name, trade name, and legal name.
10. Select the constitution of your business (e.g., Sole Proprietorship, Partnership, Company, etc.).
11. Enter your business address and contact details.
12. Enter your bank account details.
13. Upload the required documents.
14. Select the authentication method you want to use (e-Sign or EVC) and click on the "Submit" button.
