Retrenchment compensation for temporary workers as per labour law in Maharashtra?

Dear Sir,
Temporary workers, taken through outside contractor and working in our pvt ltd company for a long time, wishes to resign and go, as there is no work. For the last 2 years they have been given paid leave often when no work at factory. No leave was cut and no salary was deducted. Now they want to leave and demanding 6 months extra salary, apart from gratuity .
What should be compensation and procedure to follow as per labour law in Maharashtra.
