Understanding the Projected Industrial DA Changes from July 2017: What Do These Numbers Mean for You?

Dear Friends,

As you know, the Industrial DA with effect from 01.04.2017 for the 2007 & 1997 Scales is 117.2% and 266.7% respectively. With the release of the All India Consumer Price Index for the months of March & April 2017, the Projected Industrial DA with effect from 01.07.2017 will be 118.7% (an increase of 1.5%) and 269.4% (a decrease of 2.7%) respectively.

Note: AICPI for May 2017 is yet to come. The final figure may vary accordingly.
