Need Help Drafting an Authorization Letter for My Sister to Collect My Degree Certificate

Hi all,

I want to send an authorized letter to the university to inform them that my sister can sign for the documents and collect my degree certificate, as I am away from that place.

This is the subject... Can you please help me make corrections in the letter below?

Dear Sir,

This is to inform you that my sister, who is studying at your university, is the authorized signatory on my behalf to collect my degree certificate, as I am away from that place and need the certificate to apply for my further studies.

As far as I know, there is no need for your sister to take any letter. She can go directly after the convocation is over, which should be around 10 days, and inform them to collect on your behalf. They typically give to blood relations.

Earlier, she went there and asked for the certificate, but they didn't give it because they need an authorized letter from me.

Added to Sai's document, you can mention your sister's name and roll number so that they can use it for her authentication.
