Is a 6-Day, 9-Hour Workweek Legal? How Companies Navigate the 48-Hour Rule

Hello,

I wanted to know, can a company have 6 days of work with 9 hours each day? Will this not be against the maximum 48-hour per week rule by the government? Please let me know how companies are managing this.

9 Hours a day & reduce lunch time to 1 hour. So it is 8 hours only.

8 Hrs x 6 Days = 48 Hrs

Our company gives us 40 minutes for lunch, and the morning work starts at 8:30, finishing at 5:30. Could you please advise me on what I can do about this?
