Can I Withdraw My PF Arrears After My Employer's Late Contribution?

Good Shepherd
My employer deposited 5 years (from 2011-2015) of PF contribution arrears in my PF account in the month of November 2016 after the settlement of an inspection case. When I am checking my member passbook, the amount is not yet credited to my account. I am planning to quit my job within one month. Will I be able to withdraw the entire contribution along with arrears paid by my employer?

Hi,

Yes, you can withdraw the entire EPF amount, but not the pension fund. Before that, please verify your PF account and get your passbook updated with the help of your HR.

Thanks, Chandana Hyma,

I discussed it with my HR, but he says that they have deposited the arrears and showed me relevant documents also. He is saying that it's the error from the PF office side. Is there any rule that we can't withdraw arrears before 5 years from the date it's submitted? Please suggest.

As you mentioned that I can't withdraw the pension fund, please let me know what is the percentage of the pension fund and when can one withdraw it?
