vinodkumar9298@gmail.com
I am Mr. Vinod, currently working as an HR coordinator. One of the employees is working as an outsourced employee in the organization for a year. He has requested to withdraw his PF amount. Are we able to proceed with the withdrawal of his PF amount or not?

Thanks and Regards,

Hi Vinod,

PF can be withdrawn once an employee resigns from the company. He can withdraw by filling Form 10C or UAN-based Form 19 and getting the employer's signature before submitting it to the PF office.

Please elaborate on your query and answer a few questions mentioned below:

1) Whether the employee is under your payroll or third-party payroll since you mentioned outsourcing?

2) If the employee is under third-party payroll, then who contributes to the PF, your company as the principal employer, or the contractor?

3) If the employee is under your payroll, then what is the need for PF withdrawal? Is it for education, marriage, housing, etc.?

Please answer the above questions so that competent forum members can guide you accordingly.
