Ensuring Safety: Understanding Flashback Arrestors for Gas Cylinders

I have a question about flashback arresters. Currently, we are using an LPG cylinder as a fuel with an oxygen cylinder for gas cutting operations. I want to ask if I can use an acetylene flashback arrester for the LPG line. For the oxygen line, we are using an oxygen flashback arrester, but I don't know which flashback arrester is used for the LPG cylinder. Please suggest.

You can use a flashback arrestor for any gas cylinder pipeline, such as LPG, acetylene, or oxygen. The function of a flashback arrestor is to prevent gases from flowing back in the direction of the gas cylinder.

There is no specific flashback arrestor available designed exclusively for LPG, acetylene, or oxygen.

If flashback arrestors are installed on both LPG/Oxygen pipe ends on the torch, then we have to install NRVs on both cylinder regulators as well.
