Gratuity Payment - Recently Changed To Part Time Employee

anuj_cite
I have served in a company for 12 years as a full time employee and recently my nature of work is changed to part time employee.
I need to know if I would be getting any gratuity and if yes how will that be calculated.

If you have served for 12 years then yes you are entitled for gratuity. But im fell to understand how come your employment was changed from full time to part time. Is it rehiring case or what ?. If yes then clearance will take place for 12 years of your service and later on you may be considered as part time worker of the organisation.

Its not a rehiring case, it is just that due to my unavailability to be in the office full time, the days are limited.
Would I still be getting the gratuity of my full time period served there?
Full time period ended in March 2017 only.

If yours is 6 days working company & you complete 240 days in a year or if your is 5 days working company & you complete 190 days in a year then you are entitled to receive gratuity for that year.
If you feel that you are unlikely to work for 240 or 190 days as the case is, please claim gratuity for 12 years that you have worked.

Dear Anamika,
You have admitted that there is continuity of Service. The question of Payment of Gratuity arises, provided you Resign/Retire from Service.
You were in full time Employment till march-2017-Your entitlement of Gratuity will be on the basis of your Last Drawn Basic+DA+VDA as on March-2017
From April-2017- Your entitlement of Gratuity will be on the basis of your Last Drawn Basic+DA+VDA
You will get 1 Gratuity Payment. However calculation will be as mentioned above.Further, you have not clarified about your Salary. Are you getting same Salary? when you were Full Time Employee/Part Time Employee?
