Facing Zero Interest on PF with Company Trust: How Can I File a Grievance to Recover It?

RanjanCite
Hi, I resigned from my previous organization nearly 1 year and 10 months ago. My PF account was being maintained by the Company PF trust. I did not transfer my PF to my current organization. Now, when I ask for a statement, they send me one with zero interest accrued to date. Previously, they had said that, as per Government rules, the PF account can still be held with the previous employer PF trust, and interest will be paid for 36 months, which means 3 years, but they do not seem to pay my interest. Can you please guide me on how to file a grievance against the organization and regain my interest on my deposited PF amount? I need your quick advice.

Thanks

Dear Ranjan,

Do you require quick advice? You were not quick in getting your PF account transferred. Please apply for a transfer from the Trust to your present employer's account. After the transfer, evaluate whether interest has been credited or not. For any grievance, ensure you have sufficient documentary evidence. Any grievances need to be addressed with your Trustees in writing. Please do not make assumptions.

I hope I have promptly provided my advice.
