Mistaken PF Details: How Can I Correct Member and Family Info After 6 Months?

Dear All,

We have made a mistake while generating the PF code. My personnel entered an entirely wrong member name, father's name, and DOB which do not exist in our records. Contributions have been made for almost 6 months under the same wrong name. Can anyone help me with updating the correct details on the PF record?

Dear Mr. Siva,

Your question is also incorrect. "It is not PF Code" is for the employer. For the member, it is the member ID and UAN. Please submit a letter to the PF Office stating that the wrong member name, father's name, and date of birth have been provided by furnishing the correct details. Please ensure thorough verification of ECR data before approving and making payment.

Please consider changing your process flow for ECR generation and payment to avoid such issues in the future.
