Can Organisation Which Have PF Trust Generate UAN Number?

Dear Seniors, My query is can organisation which have PF trust generate UAN number. Is it compulsory like normal PF account or is optional to generate or not.
And in case if a trust has not generated UAN number then how can the employee take the benefits under UAN.
