Respected Members, I need your valuable advise to handle HR role in a start up. Currently working in a start-up as HR Manager, after working in different renowned companies. I joined this company because I thought I can learn a lot & it will give me exposure in various HR fields. Most of the employees working here are relatives or known to management team. Only two employees, me & other one join this company through hiring process.
After joining the company, I realized that company has documented the process for ISO Audit but not willing to follow it. My challenge is to make them an ISO certified company which is informed to me during interview as they are trying from last 2 yrs.It is a challenge to follow the processes like getting training forms, HR requisition form, interview feedback in interview assessment template, employee files etc. Things are pending from Months. They are responding after one or two months of continuous follow ups. Soon I find that management is taking my follow ups in wrong way. They are thinking that I am dominating them and trying to be bossy.
Few days back, I had a HR discussion with selected candidate I confirmed him the same designation for which interviews are happening. Panels told me he is selected get details to release the offer by CEO. Because management don't reply over the emails and don't fill up any assessment sheet or requisition forms. His designation was changed without my knowledge. I came to know about it, after his offer letter was released. Later they told me that they forget to tell me. And candidate was asking why this happened.I handle it somehow. Everything (whatever they remembered to tell me) are verbally communicated to me. It is getting very difficult for me to handle the situations because I don't have any reference on e-mail.
Lack of communication within the organisation and rude employees are others issues. I request the honorable members to please guide me how to handle this kind of situations. How to implement a documented process in the company to be an ISO Certified company and make things easier for everyone.
