An employee with a salary of Rs. 70,000 per month joined my company on 20th March 2017. How much do I have to pay him for his March salary?
I calculated one day's salary as 70,000/30 = 2333.33 (Considering 30 days in March as the standard, even though February has fewer days).
Payable Salary: 70,000 - (19 x 2333.33 {Number of absent days}) = 25667
Is this method correct for salary calculation? Please advise.
