Leave Encashment - Covered Under ESI Or Not

Respected Seniors,
In concern to Leave Encashment, we are clearing the amount in every six months, would like to know if it covers under the ESI deduction or not. If yes, then the encashment will be done on annual basis, hope then ESI deduction will not be applicable.
Kindly request to please guide on this, as any new policy or amendments will be effective from the April month.

Any payment made to the employee quarterly/Half yearly/yearly mode is not covered under ESI.
