Dear HR professionals, I am an HR professional based out of Mumbai and caught up in a confusing situation. I have a total of 3 years of work experience, which is partly in Business Development and partly in Human Resources. I have worked predominantly in the development sector for all 3 years and had to quit my last organization as it experienced a financial crunch and insolvency. During this phase, I cleared the entrance for MHRDM at Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, and my classes are set to begin in June.
Switching Sectors and Career Planning
Now, this has landed me in an unprecedented situation as I intend to switch my sector (since the development sector doesn't have enough scope for extensive HR practices). I am jobless, and even if I wish to take a job, I am in no position to devote full time to a job as my classes at Bajaj are every day between 6:30 PM-9:30 PM throughout the week. I am at a loss to understand how to go about the job hunt and what should be my next move in streamlining my career. I request your valuable inputs.
Thanks
