Note: Dearness Allowances (DA) should be added to the Basic Salary fixed for the respective Scheduled Employment based on Zones, Cadres, or Designations to determine the Minimum Wages.

DA revision is okay with me, but I still have some confusion regarding the fact that the last minimum wages were revised in 2013. It is surprising to see that after 2013, nothing has been revised by the government. Only DA is revised every year, whereas almost all states revise minimum wages once or twice a year.

Please let me know the basis and system supporting the revision. Also, inform me whether any other allowances are applicable as per the law.

As per the latest TN Govt's Government Order, both basic pay and Dearness Allowance (DA) have been revised to Basic - Rs. 4790 (Unskilled - Zone A) and DA - Rs. 2632. Please check once again and revert if necessary.
