Seeking Ph.D. Topics in HRM with Industry Exposure: Any Suggestions for an Experienced HR Head?

I am interested in starting a Ph.D. My area of interest is HRM/Organizational Behavior/Organizational Development. I am interested in a Ph.D. topic that would provide me with industry exposure as well. I have more than 17 years of experience, with 8 years specifically in the Human Resource Management field.

Please suggest some important HRM topics for a Ph.D. and provide guidance on the same. Currently, I am leading a group of companies as an HR Head.

You need to decide which topic interests you, what access you can get to collect primary data about the topic, where you will pursue your PhD, what interest your guide/supervisor has about the topic, and so on before you can decide.
