How Does the New Amendment to the CLRA Act Affect Employers with Less Than 50 Workers in Andhra Pradesh?

Please find attached a copy of the amendment relating to the Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act, 1970, wherein the Andhra Pradesh Government has amended the Act to be applicable for registration and licensing only in the case of employing fifty or more workmen.

Dear All,

Please find attached a copy of the AP Govt's Gazette Notification dated 7th Dec '15, which is self-explanatory. Although the amendment has been in force since 07/12/2015, the officials were not fully aware of it. Only after some internal circulars, the amendment has now been implemented.
