I am new to this group and need to share a lot of ideas amongst. Induction in our company has the following steps.
One day before the joining of an employee, I take care of all arrangements like workstations, telephone instruments, mobile handset, laptop arrangement, and visiting cards. On the day the employee joins, he/she first signs the appointment letters and is settled in the place with all stationery requirements. After having a cup of coffee, we take the candidate to all departments to introduce him/her. The new joinee then starts with the work.
I am now planning to add more things to this like making a PowerPoint presentation and taking all new joinees to the boardroom to introduce them to the company, branches, divisions, organogram, benefits, and handover the company policy with a welcome kit (i.e., a wallet, a pen, and a visiting card holder with the company logo embossed).
I need comments, suggestions, or criticisms if any to put it in the right way. Can anyone help me with the Company Policy document?
