Hi,
New maternity leave bill has been passed in both houses but pending for president to sign.
When am eligible to take now, am at my 8th month.

Before you go with any choice, first wait for the final amendment to be passed and declared as a policy.

you can proceed with your maternity Leave without waiting for the Gazette Notification and depending upon Doctor Certificate.You will be entitled for the benefits as per the Gazette Notification

The Bill though passed by both the Houses, becomes the law when duly assented by the President and notified in the Gazette.
