Please suggest on compensatory leave rules that are applicable to NBFCs. To give a background on my company, we have branches across the north and south.

To update on the current policy, in case an employee works on a public holiday or weekly off, the employee should take a holiday within 7 days of working.

I want to know, can this period of 1 week be changed to a month? Is there a policy around it.

Compensatory off is to be taken within 3 days before or after the weekly off during which the employee has worked.
