Can someone please tell me what are the knowledge, skills and abilities recruiters look for in freshers in the field of HR.? I am currently pursuing MBA and I would like to know this so that I can start preparing myself for placements. Kindly reply.
For freshers, the corporates look for the following
Knowledge - Whether you have clarity on various concepts like various theories like Maslow's, motivation,management processes OD, IR, competency mapping,performance management,man power planning, basic employment laws etc.
Skills - communication,presentation,analytical,problem solving
Attitude - Positive, willing to learn,committed
Traits - integrity and empathy
