Resignation Letter Not Accepting

i have submiited my resigning letter to my manger but he is not accepting continues 4 days i went to ask accept my letter but still he is refusing,i informed to hr dept. but from hr dept. saying if he will aceept then will process further.please tell me what should i do.alredy by mail also i given notify to everyone by doing this he is angry on me.

If your resignation letter is as per the notice period requirement, then the management is bound to accept and relieve you. Use all channels of authority including the highest ie CEO.The concerned Manager wrong in treating this as personal matter. He should realise that he is working for an organisation and should act within the company's policies.
