Can We Split ECR Payments into Two Installments for Different Projects in One Month?

Can we file two ECRs in a single month? We have two projects under the same code, but due to some financial problems, we are unable to make contributions for all employees at once. Is it possible to split a single ECR into two payments or are there any rules that would allow us to pay in two installments?
