Shram Suvidha Portal Confusion: What Should I Do with My LIN Number?

I have received the LIN number. What am I supposed to do with this portal? I have never used it. Please inform if there is any legal action.

Upon logging in to the portal, please submit verifications for ESIC/EPF/PAN/CIN/CST and other verifier details. Additionally, provide the NIC code for the goods or service, along with contractor/contractee details if applicable.

After submission, it will take some time for verification by the respective departments. The ESIC/EPFO combined returns will soon be filed through the Shram Suvidha portal using the LIN number.

You need to log on to the portal, review whether the Establishment information mentioned therein is correct. If there is any error, rectify the same. You have to submit returns under various labor laws applicable to your organization online and then upload a verified authenticated copy on the portal.

Please let me know if it is mandatory to register for the principal employer under the portal and obtain LIN, or if third-party vendor registration is enough. Note: The principal employer does not have any direct labor.
