Navigating Maternity Leave: How to Claim ESIC Benefits and Company Leave Together?

I am working in a private company. My joining month and year are September 2014. Every month, I will pay for ESIC. My delivery date is May 2017. My company also provides maternity leave. ESIC and my organization both offer maternity leave, or if only one entity provides it.

Since you are an insured person under the ESI Act, you will be entitled to maternity benefit under the ESI Act. In your case, the Maternity Benefit Act will not be available.

Please log in to ESIC Member Portal to know your eligibility. In case you are eligible for maternity benefits, you will be entitled to 26 weeks of leave. The payment will be made based on your contributions for the period April 2016 to September 2016 (benefit period 01-01-2017 to 30-06-2017).
