Seeking Clarity on New Contractor License Rules for 50 Laborers in Maharashtra?

Hi Seniors,

It has been reported that any contractor engaging 20 or more laborers must obtain a license within 30 days. This limit has been increased from 20 to 50 for obtaining an RC by contractors. For less than 50 contract employees, the principal employer has to obtain permission in their RC. I am looking for the circular/GR regarding this matter.

I kindly request seniors to provide the information if it has been implemented in Maharashtra.
