Struggling to Pay Penal Damages on the New EPFO Portal? Here's How to Navigate It

Dear all,

I want to make a payment of penal damages under Section 11B and interest under Section 7Q of the Employees' Provident Fund Scheme. I cannot see any option in the new unified portal of EPFO. Kindly let me know how to make the payment.

In EPFO Portal Login:

1. Go to Payment Menu.
2. Navigate to ECR / Return Filing.
3. Under Direct Challan Option, proceed to Challan Entry.
4. Choose the Wage Month and Challan Type - Miscellaneous Challan.
5. Complete the details and proceed with the payment.

Dear all,

I want to make a payment of penal damages under section 14B and interest under section 7Q of the Employees' Provident Fund Scheme. Please inform me of the wages month for challan creation (I need to pay the damages with interest for the year 2016-2017). Kindly let me know how to make the challan.
