Am I Eligible for Earned Leave After Taking Unpaid Leave for Most of the Year?

I have been working in an organization for the past 2.5 years. In the previous calendar year, 2016, I was present for only 165 days and the rest of the days were on unpaid leave. Am I eligible for EL or not?

Since your joining date, how much EL was credited to your account and how much was consumed? Did you consume all your leave every year?

Even for the calendar year 2016, if you have worked for 165 present days, then the total working days including your weekly off would come to approximately 193 days without public holidays/festival holidays counted. Keeping 193 working days in mind, you are eligible for approximately 10 days of leave.
