Monthly Bonus Under Bonus Act

Is it mandatory to pay monthly bonus under bonus act? If yes, kindly provide the notification.

Please note that payment of bonus is inked with the profitability of the establishment / factory and can be decided after compilation of annual accounts. The due date for payment is 8 months from the closing of financial year. However, if you wish to pay it on monthly, it is called the interim bonus which can be adjusted into payable bonus at the end.

There is another terminology which is called production incentive bonus payable on monthly basis. However, as stated by you it can be done either there is any agreement or policy in the company to pay advance bonus. But generally it is not practiced.
