Can someone help me out on how to create a policy on national and festival holidays? Also, what if a project head needs the employee to work on a national holiday? If yes, what are the basic procedures?

Except for a few states, many states have their own National and Festival Holiday Act. Each state has its own procedure regarding employees working on National holidays. Some states stipulate that employees should be given the holiday, while others require extra pay in addition to the holiday.

Please specify the states accordingly.
