Struggling to Update Employee Details on ESIC Portal? Step-by-Step Help Needed

As an HR professional, I have my company ID and password for the "esic.in" portal. I want to update my employees' details, but when I log in to the portal and click on the "Update IP details" link, it opens, but I am unable to update any details. Could you please guide me step by step?

Except IP Name and Date of Joining, you can update all. On the screen, there are radio buttons. Go to the respective radio button; it will open in a new pop-up window. You can edit, tick the disclaimer to accept, and save the same. Use Firefox Mozilla only for ESIC portal.

Your browser settings are blocking "popup" on the top menubar of Mozilla. See that a box appears with a red cross marked when you click any radio button. Just click that and allow pop-ups from esic.in.

Sir, can you please guide me that after the New Revised ESIC Coverage effective January 2017, ESIC Branch offices are not taking pictures for ESIC (Smart Card). Will TIC serve the purpose of a Permanent card since there is a one-month validity date on TIC?

The same thing is happening with me as well. After successfully logging in, we are not able to access the radio buttons highlighted under the "Update IP Details" section. I think this error may have arisen due to a recent browser update.

Avoid updating work during the ECR/Challan period as it generates undue traffic on the server. Use Mozilla and try after 4 pm; it works fine.

If in Mozilla Firefox, ESIC site member details are not updated, please follow the steps below:

Uninstall Mozilla Firefox and restart the computer, then reinstall Mozilla Firefox.

It's working.

If your Mozilla is not functioning well, follow this procedure:

Remove Mozilla completely from your computer. Reload Mozilla version 42 or lower in offline mode. Remove auto-update in the options. Remove popup blocker. Then switch on the internet. Your radio buttons for editing employee details will be activated.

Try Firefox 3 or 3.5. Do not update if you are using Firefox for ESIC IP details update. Alternatively, try any other browser in its older versions only.

Update your browser to the latest version of Internet Explorer, and the ESIC Portal is working hassle-free now.

I had the same problem, and it has been resolved by updating the IE browser to the latest version.

Happy days are over now! The edit/rectification facility is no longer available to employers. Hand over the Form 2 (family declaration form) to the employee to fill and get signed by themselves, attested by the employer, and rush to queue to ESIC local/regional office.

I have generated an ESIC number for an employee but by mistake, I forgot to give a space between his name and surname. Will this be an issue? Please suggest how it can be rectified.

Please uninstall your Mozilla Firefox latest version for ESIC updating to enable clicking on the Radio Button which is not functioning in the latest version of Mozilla Firefox. Kindly install Mozilla Firefox version 22.0 for updating via the Radio button.

Please note that Aadhaar number updation is blocked by the ESIC due to the Supreme Court's Aadhaar card judgment. That's why Aadhaar information is not updating in the ESIC portal. You may also see the message in the ESIC portal.

At the time of new company registration, in the "Fact/Estt Details" tab, question 12(b) asks for the name, father's name, age, and present and permanent residential address. However, when I click "Click Here to Enter Details," it does not open to enter details and does not move to the next tab.
