Transitioning from Proprietorship to Private Limited: How to Update Your Service Tax Registration?

Hi, we had a proprietorship firm and now we have converted it into a private limited company. We had the service tax registration completed. Now, can we update the PAN number and name in the service tax registration, or do we need to apply for a new service tax registration? Please advise. Thank you!

As the service tax registration is PAN-wise, the establishment has to surrender the first after filing all returns and get another one in the name of the private limited company. For any assistance, please visit the technical superintendent of your jurisdiction.
