Understanding Per Diem Rates and Travel Reimbursements for Long-Term Projects in India

Could anyone please guide me on the Per Diem Policy for travel within India?

For example, if I have an employee whom we need to send to Bangalore for a year for a project, what would be the daily rate to provide him? Additionally, how many times can the company reimburse his travel expenses if he wishes to visit his family in Hyderabad?

It depends on how the deputation is planned. If the company is going to take care of his stay in Bangalore, then ideally between 300 to 500 INR per day should be fine, as this is going to be on a long-term basis. Family visits can be once a quarter, which can be sponsored by the company.
