Office Table Arrangement Privacy Issue

Hello Friends & Seniors,

I have joined a small organisation few months back. Initially i was seating in good location with good ergonomics.

But recently one month back the Boss have shifted me to a new seat which is like the front-office table, with glass partition on one (left) side and back side (where other employee is sitting- my backside is towards her right side), while the front of my table is open and is direct to Boss's cabin door . While the office door is on my left side and i have a glass half partition on that side.

Whoever visits our office can turn right side and enquire me.

But truely speaking am not employed as front office executive or admin. (Though till date Boss has not given me my designation name).

The seating arrangement/table is such that am feeling degraded and low morale.

Am not feeling good here as there is no privacy of my table though i do not share my table with anyone now.

Please share wht i can do- am afraid to ask boss to change my seat or share my feelings. And there is no other intermediate person who can solve this.

Please do examine over some official assignment your immediate superior as to what is this about . Interact tactfully , which is called today emotional intelligence . But be ready to counter and face the situation exists, nothing is permanent , change is bound to come!! Participate in your department management affairs actively.

I recently talked to boss requesting him to change the seat, he said he will think about it.
But i know he simply said that just to avoid saying 'no'
please guide me so that i can put valid reasons as to why a desktop partition/screen is required in every workstation
